I’m having my wisdom teeth taken out tomorrow. They’re putting me all the way out. In case I don’t make it, here’s how I want my stuff apportioned:
First, my katana. It’s to be held in trust by Greg (take care of it!), and given to the first child born to my friends at the age of 13, who will begin training in an acceptable ryuha at that time.
To my dad, my computer, and every Dummies book he can find.
To Amanda, my 2 knives. (Sorry Rich!)
To whoever it will fit, my snowboard.
To Troy, my car (take care of it or I will haunt you)
I think that’s all I really need to take care of giving away. The rest can be taken by the rest of you wolves!

So I’ve been riding a lot since January. Most of which has been inside on my trainer. January went well enough–did some base training, spinning at 80rpm for a hour each ride. Sometime in early February there was a nice day, so I loaded my roadie up and split for the park. About a mile and a half in, my seat suddenly tilted back about 50 degrees, nearly sending me into my back tire and a position I’m certain is not good for males. Luckily as I tilted back I was able to stand up on my pedals quick enough, so I unclipped and tried adjusting the seat clamp with my allen wrench. Well the darn thing was in poor shape and needed replacement.
So I ordered a new seat post, and seat post clamp. That bicycle came with some crappy parts […]

Scotland / Switzerland was awesome. I’ll write about it sometime, I promise. For now, this:
Yes, this is a picture of us in Switzerland (ocs is behind the camera =/). That’s a ski run in front of us. The house behind us to the right is our little house(!). Wonderful.
Then I went to Joshua Tree again last weekend. We took maker with us, and had a good time. We’re going again for sure 5/18-5/20. You should come.
I miss my ipod. I added all my music into winamp for the first time in a long time tonight, and there’s a ton of stuff I’d love to listen to in my car, but hate switching out CDs.
I’m having my wisdom teeth taken out this Friday, 4/27. Not looking forward to that, especially since:
1) I owed Uncle Sam a ton of money (my fault)
2) I hate dental work
3)I scheduled this right before a bunch of friends’ birthdays, like a noob. Go me.
I got to see blah today! We hadn’t seen each other in a long time. Claim Jumper == good times.
Work sucks when crap randomly stops working. Want new servers. Going to attempt to premake everything in a VM this week so there’s less set-up time when we do get new hardware, since I assume it will be ordered something like October 15. Also, fiber should be in this week. Hurray!

I will be in Joshua Tree National Park, CA this weekend. Hold my calls, as I understand there isn’t any reception there anyway. I sort of wish I had brought back my tent and sleeping bag from Florida. There will be rock climbing, and there will be photographs. With 700 species of vascular plants, Joshua Tree is renowned for its plant diversity. Below are some rock climbing maps. Here are a few words that rhyme with Cory - Gorey, story, allegory..
Rock Climbing Maps
Indian Cove
Hidden Valley
Sheep Pass
Queen Valley
Geology Tour
Split Rock

We went to Big Juds again, i went with dan last week and could help myself and went again. This time i brought my camera to show how big the 2 pound burger is that we ate. We each ate half. Tonight we (me, wife, and kid) went with Willie and his family. I ate half of our 2 pounder. In the one pic you can see our 2 pounder compared to his single pound. Oh baby. Good Stuff!!
(cherry iron-port to wash it down)

Trouble is seen here fighting with the plastic bucket of catnip. Beartron’s ear is seen out of focus in the foreground. Sorry.
